This Privacy Policy applies to the Patsspace mobile application (“Patsspace”, the “App”) and explains how Patrick Starkmann / Anpa Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information.
a) Account and Sign-In Information
When you create or secure an account, we may collect your email address, Firebase user ID, sign-in provider, basic profile information provided by Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, display name, and friend code. The App may initially use an anonymous Firebase account before you choose to sign in.
b) Focus, Garden, and App Data
To provide the features of Patsspace, we may store focus sessions and focus duration; timer settings and animation preferences; garden progress, plants, pots, decorations, Waterdrops, and coins; friends, friend requests, and social focus data; notification and sound preferences; onboarding and tutorial progress; acquisition source selected during onboarding; and other information you choose to create or save in the App.
c) Advertising and Consent Information
Patsspace may show optional rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. For advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and consent management, Google and its partners may process device information, operating system and app version, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, app interaction and advertising interaction data, and consent selections and privacy preferences.
The App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to manage advertising consent where required. On iOS, the App may use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework to request permission before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or using data for tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you do not grant tracking permission, the App does not access the IDFA. Advertisements may still be shown without the device advertising identifier.
Rewarded advertisements are optional. Users may choose to watch a rewarded advertisement to receive Waterdrops. The App does not require users to watch advertisements in order to use the core focus timer.
d) Technical, Diagnostic, and Security Information
We may automatically process device model, operating system, app version, language and region settings, approximate diagnostic and performance information, crash reports and error information, and app integrity and abuse-prevention signals, including Firebase App Check signals.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to provide, operate, and maintain Patsspace; create and manage user accounts; store focus sessions, garden progress, rewards, and preferences; provide friend and social focus features; display and measure optional rewarded advertisements; manage advertising consent and privacy choices; prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; diagnose crashes and improve reliability; improve functionality and performance; respond to support requests; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Services and Third Parties
Patsspace uses third-party services that may process information on our behalf, including Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase App Check), Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Google AdMob, and Google User Messaging Platform. These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable data protection terms. Google Firebase and Google AdMob may process information on servers located in countries other than your country of residence.
5. Analytics
Patsspace uses Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App and to improve the product. Analytics events may include app screens viewed; focus sessions started, completed, or cancelled; social focus usage; garden unlocks; onboarding acquisition source; and rewarded Waterdrop advertisements completed. Analytics data is used in aggregated or pseudonymous form where possible.
6. Crash Reporting
Patsspace uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, errors, and technical problems. Crashlytics may process device model, operating system, app version, crash traces, technical identifiers, and diagnostic information. Crashlytics data is used to improve the stability and security of the App.
7. Authentication
You may use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple to secure your Patsspace account. Depending on your settings and permissions, we may receive your email address, account identifier, and basic profile information from these providers.
8. Advertising Rewards
Patsspace may allow you to voluntarily watch a rewarded advertisement in exchange for Waterdrops. The App only grants the reward after the advertising SDK confirms that the rewarded advertisement was completed. We do not sell or transfer Waterdrops between users. The number of rewarded advertisements available may be limited per day.
9. Storage and Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App and its features, maintain your account and focus, garden, and social functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect the security and integrity of the App. Some preferences and usage data may be stored locally on your device. Account-related data and synchronized progress may be stored using Firebase services.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries where our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international data transfers.
12. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, object to certain processing, and request information about how your data is used.

13. Account Deletion

Some information may be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
14. Children’s Privacy
Patsspace is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable law in the relevant jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
15. Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. External Services and Links
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party services.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after an update means that you acknowledge the revised Privacy Policy.
