This Privacy Policy applies to the Bambo mobile application ("Bambo", the "App") and explains how ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App.

  • basic profile information made available through authentication providers such as Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple

b) App Usage and Productivity Data

To provide the features of Bambo, we may collect and store:

  • focus session data
  • productivity progress
  • in-app settings and preferences
  • bamboo, panda, reward, or progression-related data
  • friends, groups, or social feature data
  • other information you choose to create or save in the App

c) Subscription and Purchase Information

If you purchase Bambo Pro or other premium features, we may receive limited purchase and subscription status information through RevenueCat and the relevant app store provider. We do not directly collect or store full payment card information.

d) Advertising and Consent Information

If the App shows advertisements, we and our advertising partners may process certain data for ad delivery, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and consent management. This may include:

  • device information
  • advertising identifiers
  • IP address
  • app interaction data
  • consent selections and privacy choices

e) Technical and Security Information

We may automatically collect certain technical and security-related information, such as:

  • device model
  • operating system and app version
  • language and region settings
  • approximate diagnostics and performance information
  • app integrity or abuse-prevention signals, including signals related to Firebase App Check

f) AI Feature Data

If you use AI-powered features in Bambo, the content you submit to those features may be processed to generate responses and provide the feature to you.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain Bambo
  • authenticate users and manage accounts
  • store progress, sessions, rewards, and preferences
  • enable friends, groups, and social app features
  • provide premium subscription features
  • display and manage ads
  • manage consent and privacy choices
  • operate AI-powered functionality
  • secure the App and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
  • improve functionality, reliability, and performance
  • respond to support requests
  • comply with legal obligations

4. Services and Third Parties We Use

We may use third-party services that process data in connection with the App, including:

  • Google Firebase, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase AI, and Firebase App Check
  • Google Sign-In
  • Sign in with Apple
  • Google AdMob
  • RevenueCat

These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.

5. Advertising

Bambo may display advertising through Google AdMob.

Advertising partners may process certain information, such as advertising identifiers, device data, IP address, app activity, and consent choices, in order to provide, personalize, measure, and improve ads where permitted by applicable law.

Where required by law, we request your consent before showing personalized advertising. You may also be able to update your privacy choices later within the App.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Bambo may offer paid subscriptions or premium access.

Purchases are processed by the applicable app store provider and RevenueCat. We may receive subscription status, entitlement information, and basic transaction-related metadata necessary to unlock and maintain premium access.

7. Authentication

You may sign in using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. When you do, we may receive certain information from these providers, such as your email address, account identifier, and basic profile details, depending on your settings and permissions.

8. Storage and Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

9. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information:

  • with service providers that help us run the App
  • with advertising, authentication, AI, database, and subscription providers as necessary
  • when required by law or valid legal process
  • to protect the rights, security, and integrity of the App, our users, or others
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries where our service providers operate. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for such transfers.

13. Children's Privacy

Bambo is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable law in the relevant jurisdiction, unless explicitly stated otherwise. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization.

If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. External Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
