Welcome to Patsspace. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Patsspace mobile application and related services.

1. Use of the App

Patsspace is a productivity and focus app designed to help users run focus sessions, build a virtual garden, track progress, and optionally connect with other users.

By using Patsspace, you agree to use the app only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

Patsspace is not a medical, therapeutic, or emergency service. It is intended as a productivity tool only.

2. Accounts

Patsspace can be used as a guest. Some features, including social features, account synchronisation, and purchase restoration, may require signing in with a supported login provider.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for providing accurate information where required. You must not use Patsspace to impersonate another person or interfere with other users’ experience.

You may request deletion of your account through the app. Details about data handling and deletion are available in our Privacy Policy.

4. Focus and App Blocking Features

Patsspace may offer focus-related features, including optional app blocking on supported devices. These features depend on operating-system permissions, device settings, and platform availability.

We do not guarantee that app blocking or focus-related features will work without interruption on every device or in every situation. Users remain responsible for their own device settings and use of their devices.

5. Virtual Items and Optional Rewarded Ads

Patsspace may include virtual items, such as Waterdrops, plants, pots, and other in-app content. Virtual items have no monetary value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Patsspace may offer optional rewarded advertising. If a reward is offered, it will be granted only after the advertising provider confirms that the advertisement was successfully completed. The availability of rewarded advertisements is not guaranteed.

6. Subscriptions and Patsspace Pro

Patsspace may offer optional premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions, lifetime access, or other in-app purchases. Premium features may include additional animations, plants, pots, visual content, and other features described in the app at the time of purchase.

Prices, billing periods, and available products are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by country, platform, taxes, currency, or promotional offers.

If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play:

payment is charged to your Apple or Google account upon confirmation of purchase;
the subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;
your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period; and
you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.

If you do not cancel before renewal, the subscription renews under the billing terms presented at the time of renewal.

7. Lifetime and One-Time Purchases

If Patsspace offers lifetime access or other one-time purchases, those products provide the benefits described at the time of purchase, subject to continued availability of the app and applicable law.

A lifetime purchase does not guarantee the availability of every future feature, item, platform, or service unless this is expressly stated at the time of purchase.

8. Purchases and Refunds

Payments, subscription management, and refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google are handled by the respective store and are subject to that store’s terms and policies.

Please use the purchase restoration option in the app if a previously purchased entitlement is not shown correctly. If that does not resolve the issue, contact us at the address below.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Patsspace, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, reverse engineer the service where prohibited by law, or use the app in a way that could harm Patsspace, its users, or third parties.

10. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Patsspace or its features where reasonably necessary for legal, technical, security, or business reasons.

We may also update these Terms. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide appropriate notice where required by law. Continued use of Patsspace after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, unless applicable law requires another form of consent.

11. Disclaimer

Patsspace is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device, operating-system version, or platform.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Patsspace and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

For simple negligence, liability is limited to damages that are foreseeable and typical for this type of agreement, and only where an essential contractual obligation has been breached.

13. Termination

You may stop using Patsspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the app or individual features if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or where necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
